In 2010, Kim attended Concord Regional Technical Center's Exploring Teaching program and was hooked. During her junior and senior year of high school, she was accepted in the SNHU High School Program, Introduction to Education, where she was able to intern at 2 local preschools and gain a wealth of valuable information and practical experience in the Early Childhood Education field. Kim's first preschool teaching job was in this very facility, the former home of the Institute for Learning. Her primary responsibilities included all aspects of the toddler classroom. Through her creativity, imaginative nature, and caring attitude, she was able to create an enthusiastic environment and provide an exciting learning experience for students. IFL closed in July of 2013. Kim's next preschool experience was the Lead Teacher at Blueberry Express Daycare in Pittsfield, NH where she was responsible for the day-to-day activities of the 1 & 2 year old classroom. Kim has great leadership qualities. She has a caring attitude and strong desire to work with children. She is comfortable working with children of all ages and will be a great asset at Small Steps.
